Roma x Fiorentina
Roma are in a terrific form, having won each of their last 6 games while improving their overall performances in the process. Ahead of their difficult Champions League clash at Real Madrid they are not expected to make wholesale changes with their focus still very much on the domestic competition. Fiorentina were knocked out of the Europa League but Tottenham but scheduling has only given them four days rest to prepare for the trip to Rome after drawing with Napoli at the start of the week. The Viola have therefore managed to keep pace with Roma but they might be suffering from fatigue following a very intense month. The two sides are tied on 53 points, have managed to leave the Milanese clubs behind and could even get a shot at second place should Napoli or Juventus drop points over the remainder of the campaign. With only 10 games remaining after this gameweek, a win here would give one of these sides a huge advantage in the race to finish in the top-four. Roma are slight favourites ahead of what should be a very entertaining encounter between these two sides. However, this will be Luciano Spalletti's first real test in his second stint in charge of the Giallorossi and it remains to be seen how they will stand up against the Viola.
Prediction: Under 2.5 goals
